These are some of the most common questions I get asked. If you have others, please contact me.
l recommend a Primary Care Physician’s clearance before beginning any exercise program. This is not necessary prior to our first session, only subsequent visits.
During the first visit, I’ll do a detailed review of your exercise and dietary past, your objectives, knowledge of anatomy, biochemistry and physiology. From this, I’ll create a tailored workout and nutrition program, a comparison between using a home gym and a fitness center, and an evaluation of posture and ergonomics.
During follow up visits, we’ll review your prior visit, discuss goals met or not met, and make appropriate changes to diet and exercise plans.
Not directly, although I will provide a receipt that one may submit to 3rd party payer.
In this practice, I do not perform any services that would require a Physician’s license (though I am a licensed Physician).
1 hour in person (Zoom may be available in the future).
l don’t recommend it.
Between 2-6 sessions, depending on an individual’s knowledge level and experience with exercise. More if needed.
